Some people choose a gluten-free diet; my friend does it out of necessity. Dairy-free too. I think it’s rotten that the gluten-free bread he buys cracks when bent and is pretty much only edible when toasted. I have a hunch there’s a decent-sized GF community in and around Harrisonburg and we’d like to come up with some items that meet their dietary needs while also tasting delicious. Currently we’re working on a multigrain bread, a dark chocolate fudge-y brownie and a fruit & nut bar. We’re new to this subject so any suggestions/advice from those who know more than we do is appreciated.
